I recently applied for a job In the Automotive Industry ans was denied employment due to a failed background check. My question is can i be denied employment due to a misdomenor that happened when i was a Minor? I am now 21 years of age. And what about a traffic misdomenor?

Unless it was expunged from your record then yes they can, especially if it relates to the type of work. A traffic mis. though generally can't, but if it relates to the work you'll be doing then yes they can hold it against you. In your case the automotive industry directly relates to this, and thus it could be used against you. It could also be held against you if you were appling for a driver job with a pizza joint.
