What is the best way/tool to promote our pre-employment background screening firm? I am a National Account Manager for First Choice Research Screening in Hollywood, FL.

How do I promote our pre-employment background screening firm?
There are two main motivators for people: to gravitate toward something attractive and to fear something negative. In your field, the latter would serve you best, especially in the current climate of terrorism, stolen identity, and white collar crime. Emphasize to potential customers that you are a certified and trained firm to weed out the economic and legal horrors associated with hiring an ill-equipped or fraudulent applicant. If helpful, cite examples of what has happened to companies which have not well-screened their employees.
Reply:Hmm....you could put a few adds in the newspaper to start off and see how it goes, although there are a few other alternatives.





You could make cold calls to businesses that would be in needs of services like your company provides and make appointments to meet with said companies just to get your foot in the door.





Perhaps a few ads online might help as well.





Does your company have a website? You could provide examples on how your services might beat that of a competitor.
