What is the employment outlook for black females interested in practicing employment law?

I am thinking of attending law school and I am wondering if this would be a good area for me.

What is the employment outlook for black females interested in practicing employment law?
This is just my own opinion from being in the business world for 25 years. I think your prospects would be very good in employment law. First of all, as a black female, you cover two categories of diversity that employers often need to cover. Secondly, and unfortunately, since a lot of employment litigation involves discrimination suits, you may find that clients prefer working with someone who has a minotiry perspective. On the other side of that table, if you decide to go into corporate law, then a corporation is always smart to bring a minority attorney to the table in a discrimination lawsuit.

So, again just my humble opinion, I think there are a lot of forces that would support your career choice!
Reply:The same as anyone else what a silly question
Reply:Go for it.

Your colour shouldn't change a thing.

Reply:should it really matter the colour of your skin. The employment outlook will all really depend on your education, experience and motivation etc. not race
Reply:Why would being a black female matter? Federal law under EEOC says that employers can't legally discriminate based on race or sex, so I'm confused why you would think it would matter?
